Premiers Points—French for “first stitches”—is a beginner-friendly hand-stitching workshop designed to help you begin with confidence. Through simple demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll learn how to prepare your materials, transfer a design, and create a sampler using nine foundational embroidery stitches.
- Getting Started with Hand Stitching – Learn how to choose fabric, use an embroidery hoop, understand embroidery floss, and thread your needle.
- A Simple Transfer Method – Prepare your fabric for stitching by transferring the included design with a light pad and heat-erasable pen.
- Nine Foundational Stitches – Learn straight stitch, running stitch, back stitch, whipped back stitch, French knots, lazy daisy, stem stitch, satin stitch, and chain stitch
