When Life Feels too Full for Creativity

You love the idea of slowing down with a cup of tea and your paints — but life always seems to fill the quiet before it begins.

Your days are good, but full.

Between caring for others, tending to responsibilities, and keeping everything running, your creativity has slowly slipped to the edges of your life.

You tell yourself you’ll paint when things settle down… but the moment never quite comes.

Even when the house is still, your mind is still busy.

And lately, you’ve wondered —

Have I forgotten how to create just for me?

Or how to rest without feeling like I should be doing something else?

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

Many women reach this season of life with a quiet longing to create again — but don’t know how to begin.

Tea & Color: Painting in the Quiet Hours offers a gentle space to rest and create.

No art experience needed—just a sketchbook and a few quiet moments to find rest.

Tea & Color

IN THIS EXPERIENCE YOU'LL LEARN...

  •  Create with ease — simple watercolor techniques that invite flow, not pressure.

  • Express without expectation — reconnect to the joy of making for yourself, not performance.

  • Leave with a tangible reminder of peace — a finished watercolor piece that carries the quiet you created it in.

  • Find beauty in the stillness — use color and quiet as a form of prayer, reflection, and rest.

  • Build small, sacred rhythms — weave creativity into your everyday life in ways that feel natural and restorative.

This isn’t about becoming an artist.

It’s about remembering that you already are one — and creating from that place of calm, faith, and delight.

 Meet Gabi

When I first returned to watercolor, it wasn’t about technique.

It was about breathing again.

In a season of deep loss and caregiving, sitting down with a cup of tea and a brush in my hand became a quiet form of prayer — a way to slow my thoughts and re-attune myself.

Over time, painting became a rhythm of healing, and now it’s a rhythm I love to share with other women — especially those who’ve spent years caring for others and are ready to come home to their own hearts again.

Tea & Color is my invitation for you to do just that — to sit in the quiet, paint what peace feels like, and remember that your creativity still belongs to you.

~Gabi
